Curly horses sometimes lose their mane in the spring time, and there is a lot of debate over whether the causes are genetic or bacterial in nature. While not all Curlies shed their manes once a year, Sage certainly does. This video talks about how I've been treating Sage's mane for the past few years, and then shows photos from before I treated his mane, and after. Summer has been a difficult season for Sage with the bugs as he has very little protection against them once his mane is gonelets hope this year weve figured out how to help him keep his mane! One correction to the video...I am NOT putting the jojoba oil on his mane correctly! Please see the original video that this is posted in response to in order to see how the jojoba oil should be applied. Thanks for watching, and I hope others in the Curly horse community will post their own videos. :-)
