Really close... I'm wondering - do you really see sarcastic anger in my reply to Titan? It seems I offered a reasonable assumption based on "totally ruined" "obnoxious" and "intrusive," that Titan was making a universal value statement about the video. I responded with a personal value statement (I like...). Anyway, thanks for being cordial in our discussion... You may have the last word if you choose. Blessings...
It could be they were simply stating an opinion. It could be argued that, given the sarcasm and anger in your replies, you really like the clip and want everyone else to like it too. But that's a very human tendency.
sorry for the multiple replies, that was a mistake, but...
We tend to judge others by the measure of our own hearts. In your reply to Titan752 you rightly remark that he or she doesn't like the clip, but then you go the extra step of assuming that they don't want anyone else to like it either.
Yes, I mistakingly assumed you posted it because of your defending it with such vigor. The quote isn't boastful of course, repeating it using the power of cinema could be. And the text isn't strictly the quote anyway, if you notice, there are disappointingly boastful asides.

Wrong. You missed the point of the video AND the quote. The video is suggesting Christians SHOULD strive for humility (it is meant to encourage and inspire - not proclaim). The quote is made by an outsider to the faith (1700 years ago) who notices something about others, so the quote is not braggadocious. Also, I didn't post the video, so I didn't obliterate anything. I do wish I were more humble, I wish when someone sees my life, they might see a sense of peace.
I didn't miss the point, but you about obliterated it, by bragging about how 'humble' Christians are. Boy, you guys are sure good at letting yourselves off the hook.

At least you read it. I think you missed the point (which is obvious, how DID you miss it?), but at least you gave it a shot. Good try.
