    Blown off leg, bleed out, die slowly and painfully. Only relief from pain is shock, if you go into shock however, you are more likely to die. None of that compares to the tragedy of taking one of your comrades with you if you fuck up. Someone else paying for your mistake with their life is a very scary thing.
