Okay. So I can't sing like Porter--and my Spanish can't touch that of gemelomalvadodefred. But I'd like a chance too. I may be a bit older (well I'm not sure how old Porter is) but my mother and father have a seven year spread. I can always hope that I'm not out of the running!

The talents I have don't tend to fair well in the dating/courtship scene. Yeah, for some reason girls aren't floored by a guy who likes to read dictionaries, almanacs, all sorts of reference books, history volumes and obsessively follows the news. It's just not a trait that I've really ever seen "wow" a woman. The farthest you can get with it is have them think you to be either 'interesting' or, if yer lucky, maybe 'smart.' Both are significantly limiting.
