  • MLG basically sold out by doing the whole pool play thing. The only reason they do it(And placement rounds in halo 3) is to have pros playing on Friday, because its more "spectator friendly." MLG has been selling out the competitiveness of the tournaments to be more spectator friendly for years now. If they had a universial open bracket like you suggest, the top 16 would probably be totally different, but of course MLG doesn't want that, so they breast feed the top 16.

  • @ProHavik It's sad and pathetic.

  • So much truth in this video. Great stuff Boss.

  • @ProHavik Thanks for the feedback.

  • Why the fuck would you have fewer points and be seeded higher? WTF? That's the dumbest most unprofessional shit I've ever seen. WTF?...

This is the definition of bullshit.

  • @ProHavik Truth, preach it.

  • @br4ne That's the truth, sadly mlg is still in it's infancy of understanding how "competition" needs to be run at a higher level. There still at a very low standard.

  • @TheBOSSNASTi It happens everywhere else, in sports most consistently. Whenever a new team is formed, they always start at the bottom and need to work their way up.

  • @br4ne Yea this is something that we've talked about before on ThePGS many times about how if players leave teams, they should take some kind of point deduction/penalty in order to promote more consistent teaming.

  • What I don't understand is that they have this point system, but even if you have heaps of points it doesn't matter? I mean Ninjas new team can be justified for not being top 16 because they're an almost completely new squad, but wouldn't you lower their points or something?
