Mitch Ryder could sing and rock live when he was on. That Detroit sound. J.Geils band took what they had and made it bigger. Bob Gaudio helped these guys. What a great song still...I saw John Mellencamp and Mitch came out and rocked this song...yeah!!

Nothing is live about this studio track, but thanks for uploading it anyway.

@bayridged The vocals are probably live, otherwise Warner Music (who seems to own the song) wouldn't have let med uploaded it. I tried to upload the song from another show, but failed.

@SixtiesPopGold Bet my house that they aren't live;you can tell by Mitch's lack of effort on such a dynamic piece.I know this studio track backwards since it was one of the first bass lines I learned. The TV studio did have some booms that picked up some of the girl's grunts and the audience cheering at the end
etc.,but that's the extent of "live"

@bayridged How big is your house? No, I'm sure you're right. Sometimes I've tried to upload a playback song from two different shows. One of them was successful but the other one failed, so it's a real jungle out there when it comes to copyright. I tried to upload "Jenny Take a Ride" from "Swingin' Time", but Warner didn't let me, so therefore I thought that this Hullballoo clip at least was somewhat live.
