i got mine in 2011 santa got it. at first it wasn't moveing at all not even his freaking head so i was hiting him on his head and HOLY CRAP he was moveing OMG!

actually its not a second eye its like a sensor that locates things in its range. like a motion sensor. he used it in hoth (snowy place) while trying to look for luke. if luke was in range of r2-d2's tracker/ sensor.
