@mudfroggie -I think VA Freeways has gone from starting out to making quality, watchable and enjoyable videos faster than anyone else has, you'll see that as you go through his work. It takes a few tries to work the kinks out.

@Freewayjim Jim, I don't disagree that it's a good "first effort". I just discovered this collection and started at the beginning. The to-the-left was a bit hard on the eyes, but if that's since been corrected in the other videos (which I haven't gotten to yet), then no worries.

@mudfroggie -This is a far better "first effort" than most people have done, it's better than my first video. Not to mention it's better than some who've done many of these types of videos on here.

Expect a Fall re-shoot of this video in October.
are you able to get other roads in other states such as PA or WV?

@TheThunderstorm2 I have a number of West Virginia videos, most from the eastern part of the state. I don't have any Pa. videos except for one where I briefly cross into Pa. on I-81

Nice video. I've lived in this area my whole life. Always love my drives up 211 until it ends in New Market. Your video shows the beautiful peaks of some of the best hiking trails in our area. And hey, no need to rush through this rural area by raising the speed limit, enjoy your day in the country away from the 70 mph rat race you've left behind.

@lebaron719 Thanks! Yeah I drive VERY close to the speed limit these days when I go on Rt. 211 - I always see cops on this route. I plan on re-doing this video next month, hopefully on a day similar to this one.

Surprised you didn't mention the turn-off to Washington, VA (around 2:43). Also disagree with ScrewdUP regarding camera direction. Doesn't have to be dead-center, but this was too far left...messed up the eyes a bit.

@mudfroggie That's fine but again I was still learning the ropes here, I realise I made a mistake with the camera but after I went through all the trouble to film this I wasn't just going to scrap it entirely. It took some time to get this process down to where I have it today and even still today I make some mistakes. I think it came out fairly decent considering it was my first video.
