um.. sorry for the long posts but... also, master chief himself was one of those taken away from his life, and put through rigorous training JUST to be a weapon. he wasnt really allowed any fun or emotion in his life... anyay just thought i would mention it :)

in one of the halo books, *spoiler alert* it mentions that the covenant, upon finding the humans, asked with their highest artifact( a forerunner piece of technology, i cant remember exactly) and it says that these humans are forerunners. However, the covenant leaders felt that this should never be aware to the general public and felt they had to eradicate the humans. in the first encounter, the humans tried their best to be chivalrous.... but they ended up losing nearly everything they had

i find that i sorta agree and disagree with most of the viewers here.... before i start i would like to mention that i play and like both halo and gears (however i play halo a bit more).... i think that both games can be considered to be equally depressing. GoW is definately more depressing in the gameplay, most people here who have played GoW ould agree with me. But.... if you take the time to delve into the halo storyline, you may find that it can be equally depressing.

lol the gears of war trailer wont stop reclaiming on my tv until i bought it and that made me a GOW fan 4EVER!!! and then the GOW 2 trailer came and wont stop eitherXD and i went and bought it and was kinda disepointed:/ the ending boss is lame and there is no berserker:( but GOW 3 wont stop reclaming until i have bought it so i have something to see until GOW 3 will release:) <3 GOW 4EVER!!!

@worldof12 you should know by now if your a true gears of war fan that it was the song in the trailer when the game first game came out plus gears of war is a sad and depressing game so is mad world :)

both halo and gears have aliens takeing over the world and that would be a fun game would it gears vs halo who will win the fight.
