The chubby fellow behind the counter who warns "Do you wanna get fat?" and then eats the food himself, is Seymour Hindenburg (stage name: "Natch Davis"), father of my first best friend, Mark. Natch also appeared in "Freddie Steps Out", with much the same plot, cast and lines as "Junior Prom". Mostly, he was a nightclub/early TV comic, neighborhood tummler, and hero to all the kids in our 1940's/'50's Ryer Avenue, Bronx neighborhood, for whom he always had a joke and a funny face. I miss him.
There is plenty of stuf by Dean on youtube

After 10 years of lindy hopping, this is the first time I have seen Dean Collins dance. He certainly lives up to the legend.
