First outing, getting used to the paddle clutch and the Quaife prototype Fiesta sequential box.
I was just a few 100ths off my PB from 6 years ago, on the same set of tyres I used 6 years ago, on a cold damp day.

Disappointed not to go quicker, but it was very encouraging for the first outing. There is a lot more to come, and the development has only just begun. Quicker gear changes for one :D

  • @madminidriver1400 Thankyou Martin. I need to walk the course one day with someone like yourself. Loads to learn, on what is a very quick track. If I can avoid changing down for the last corner, so much the better :D

  • Hi Graham, if you stay wide on the final bend on to the finish straight you'll miss the what seem like the Grand Canyon mid corner. In a road this little bump is nothing but in race car a quick trip to the physio after.
