I can see how you'd get caught on that loop. lol. It's catchy. I do that all the time with my DL4s. start playing something, loop it, and get stuck playing over it for hours. haha Love your lead tone too. Keep rock'n it!

which guitar do you find better overall? tele or strat?
-
definitely not. if you buy a high quality fender it is smooth as all hell. i have a friend who threw some fast fret on his Mexican strat, and holy wow, that thing was slick.

You are an amazing musician.

nope... they're soft as hell... but the neck isn't that comfortable for full speed thrashing, but you can get the sweetest tone from a Fender that you can't get from any other guitar

I hear when you run your fingers down a Fender fretboard it's like running them down a saw blade. Is that true?

Your videos are great.
How do you feel the Memory Man with Hazarai compares to the DMM? Is the loop function on it useful?
do you have a shite load of delay or is the vid out of time? lol still fucking awesome though! most skillfull guitarist on the tube!

There's 330 ms of delay at about a 70% dry 30% wet setting, but the video for some reason went all wonky when I uploaded it and threw the video/audio sync way out of whack.

That's the peavey Ultra channel, and EHX Stereo memory man with Hazarai. That's it.

Ok I was wondering because I can't come anywhere near that smooth of a tone with my Ultra. I get a slightly fuzzy lead tone. Maybe its time to go get my amp checked out. At least now I know the amp is capable of the tone I want.

Here's the amp settings I had,
Ultra Gain 6, Volume 3, Bass 3, mids 2, treble 4. Dampening switch set to loose, Reverb 7.
Here's a tip to kill the fizzies on the ultra, once you go past 5 on the EQ, you actually start adding gain due to the fact that it's an active EQ, plus setting the dampening to loose, lets the speaker/tubes absorb some of that fizz.
Hope it helps

Just to add, I was using the neck pickup, and plugged in to the amp through the low input.
