Ed Wynn was a pioneer of vaudeville, radio and TV. Here he plays one of his inventions, the piano bicycle, with Dinah Shore.

  • Enchantment

  • Dinah Shore-- She had her own show, it started in November 1951 and it ran until 1962. Ed Wynn's show ran only one season from 1949-1950

  • This was wonderful! Thank you for sharing it with us.

Ed Wynn was so funny. And such a lovely voice Miss Shore had.

  • Ed Wynn is maybe my favorite human being of all time.

  • Now THESE ACTORS and Entertainers are SO MUCH MORE Classier than today's stars and actors.

    lol

  • I now have a big smile on my face.

  • Ed Wynn first showed off his bicycle piano in January, 1930, in a Broadway show called Simple Simon. Ruth Etting sat on top and sang "Ten Cents a Dance."

  • This is almost the same act he performed with Betty Taylor in the extended Golden Horseshoe Revue that appeared on Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color
