Bullying Genesis: Chapter 12

The LORD favors Abram and blesses him and anyone else who blesses him, yet when a Pharaoh helps him out, the LORD sends plagues upon the Pharaoh and his land. There seems to be a bit of a contradiction here. Is the LORD just screwing with people's heads now?

My question is: Where did the Pharaoh came from? And why did people in Egypt believe in other gods if god was constantly walking the earth? haha god should've appeared before them and prove them wrong xD

Canaanites. Remember what Canaan did, He had uncovered his father's nakedness. Remeber uncovering your fathere's nakedness means to sleep with his wife- thus this is the reason Abraham was scared because they longed to sleep with his wife. Even if it meant killing him.
