Matthew, no matter what song you're singing, your voice just seems to soothe my soul. I don't know how else to describe it. I have loved your voice and your tender, soulful interpretation of every song I have ever heard you sing, since the first day I was lucky enough to come across you and your videos. : ) Not exactly. Just your typical noisy summer afternoon in the East Village. But I was definitely exasperated by how many planes decided to fly over while I was trying to record this. Between the flyovers, car alarms, fire engines and general traffic noise it took 5 tries to get a usably clean take.
