  • Bro....any chance of using WRR rims for WRX?

  • everything would work......except the front brake, the hub and brake caliper bracket are different, so it won't be a straight swap, you would need to get creative, prolly better to talk to warp 9 to see if they make something to fit.... I got spacers machined for my KTM SM wheels to bolt on with a home-grown brake bracket.....

  • The lil 250 wont pull on the 400. You have to get on the gas before the apex to get as much momentum as you can, if both bike got pinned at the same time the drz would walk away.

  • nice clean pass, and good riding...is she stock?

  • retrofitted a FMF Q pipe from my KTM, and a powercommander to smooth out the fuel injection....so, mostly stock, gotta keep that motor singin' (Revs high) and be smooth, any little mistake and there's no power to make up for it.....helps to improve my riding, I think...

  • Nice pass mate! :D i reckon though that there isn't a lot of difference between the two bikes becaue the drz may have a biggee engine but it is heavier as well i think so that pulls the power/weight back down and yamaha have a much higher state of tune to their smaller capacity single bikes anyway, (not sure about the bigger bikes)

  • @MadMmmike

How is this so? i think i'm right in saying that a standard DRZ400 has 36bhp and the WR250 has 33bhp... they're both about the same weight and have the same size tyres etc if that would make any difference... My understanding is that they're both the same in terms of performance.

Please find a video to prove that the DRZ would "walk away"

  • @TheMotardedHooligan No where on here did I say the WR is a better bike, nor did I say my track riding friend was skilled or not skilled, it was a for fun track night, and I happened to get some video, If you see my comments above, I do say the DRZ is faster. Although I find I can ride the WR better off road than I could my DRZ, and for that I attribute a better chassis and stock suspension setup......

  • @savardr6 Ah now... I wouldn't go so far as to say Suzuki sucks. (I currently own Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and Kawi) Honda and Yamaha probably have Suz. and Kawi. on quality, but only just. I own a DRz400sm, and it by no means sucks. The Yamaha happens to be a newer design, but the DRz is as bulletproof as they come! Honda or Yamaha need to build a streetable 450 competitor to the DRz400sm (none of this CRF230sm crap!) and I'll sell my DRz and buy one tomorrow.

  • Got that ride! You smoked that dude!!

  • the wr is a much better bike than the drz. suzuki sucks(cheap componet, bolt etc), yamaha are inovative and reliable, that's my YAMAHA!!!

  • Are you on dp tires? That looks fun!!! I love my wrr.
