Landscaping is something which we all dream of doing once in a while, but the more you try the more you discover you should be doing or have done already, this garden plot was 2 metres or more under local rubbish that had been tipped so getting rid of that was our main task, the battle seemed to be won when we leveled the ground but on trying to plant sapling trees we had our next concern brought up - we seemed to be on top of a band of clay and during one of the many squalls and summer rains you can get we were under 5cms of water for a week at a time - so the soak-away had to be done and today we are in a position to test it out and maybe film the results.
