Making a rappel system involves tying the two ends of the rope together, throwing the rope over the edge, hooking up an ATC guide rappel device and taking out the slack of the rope. Properly use a rappel system with safety information from an experienced rock climber and stunt man in this free video on extreme sports.

  • umm auto block anyone?

  • @lukeyb86 too bad you are so closed minded.

  • stellar video! thank you so much for your time and effort! I REALLY appreciate

an instructional video that will instruct me to seek professional instruction! THUMBS UP!

  • i think people just slate expert village instinctively now, this is a pretty good tutorial, its exactly how I do it. You don't need a prusik if your experienced. If your not you shouldn't be doing it on your own, but thats pretty much common sense. If your stupid enough to try and rappel with this being the only tuition you've got, well... you were probably gonna hurt yourself at some stage anyway.

  • This is an awful tuition video which everyone should avoid. The only useful bit of advice is at the beginning "GO AND GET TUITION FROM AN EXPERIENCED ROCK CLIMBER".
