ZL2FT 160Mtr Antenna RX Test

An A and B comparison test on my new 160 mtr dipole antenna.
Testing between the 40/20mtr inverted vee up 30ft and 160mtr dipole antenna on fence.
Stations used to rx during test where on 1.820mhz(from Wellington NZ),and 2.210mhz (from Taupo NZ).

Yep i sent the radio away soon after this video was made and had the backlight problem fixed.

All worked fine after that, since then i have sold the radio and got another ic756pro2 in the shack.

The more wire the better on 160m. I am thinking about putting up a 160m vertical in a high tree in the fall when propagation comes back here in the states.
