Last year, a separate large study found no clear connection between cellphones and cancer. But it showed a hint of a possible association between very heavy phone use and glioma, a rare but often deadly form of brain tumor. However, the numbers of heavy users was not sufficient to make the case.Liberls feed on fear, most is unfounded. Just like Global warming caused by man. This is just another reason to hate "evil" corporations.

The biggest study ever to examine the possible connection between cellphones and cancer found no evidence of any link, suggesting that billions of people who are rarely more than a few inches from their phones have no special health concerns. The Danish study of more than 350,000 people concluded there was no difference in cancer rates between people who had used a cellphone for about a decade and those who did not.

@04004 Tiny amounts? We have 10.000 microwatt each square Centimeters in my country. And solblock is fulled with chemicals that our skin absorbs. The sun is naturel and giving life to the planet earth.

You should stop being so paranoid about tiny amounts of EMF and put on some sunblock to protect you from the real risk, UV radiation from the Sun!

I strongly agree with Dr. Carlo! As someone who has proven to myself and my family that cell phone use gives me headaches - I don't own one. And I don't want one. Add to this the horrible call quality - and I hate cell phones!

@rorysparrow1 What you say is true only ostensibly. It begins to become false when the balance of economic & social interactions starts to SHIFT to use of the new technology, dragging previously independent interactions to its domain. At this point, vital necessities or human desires: earning $, buying food, traveling across state lines, communicating with friends and family, etc. - become intertwined w/ the new technology/ies & can't be achieved w/o them. There are countless examples.

if cell phones had been called their proper name, microwave phones when they first came out, would you have bought one?

I'd like to add that I can think of many examples of products that we've been persuaded by the media into BELIEVING that we really NEED. Well, if I didn't NEED a certain product before it was INVENTED, then why would I suddenly have a need for that product NOW? Think about it! It makes sense.
