Hey, I have a scene in 3ds max of a car, but the method did not help me much. Do you think this works only for simple scenes?
Your scene looked quite complicated to me though...

THhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaa
ank you from 8 hrs render time its now 1 hour not bad though -
@milutinmrkonjic It depends a lot on the scene. If you are using more objects and a lot of subdivisions it can increse the rendertimes enormously...Try testing the scene without any subdivisions at all and see if it renders faster :)

hello every1 ,i have 3dmax 2011 & i want to download the vray ,
my friend gave me vray 2009 ... so my question is : is it ok to download it together or i should download 3dmax 2009 or it doesnt matter the vray version ??
please help and thanks
That doesn't work!! I use 3d max 2010 on my Intel E7500, ati radeon 4810 and 4gm of ddr ram and still takes 30 minutes to render. I did all you explain in this video but not working!! What else should i try?

Hi! i Have a question.Does the fact that,i have a 3ds Max 2010 sp2 running on my system and i have installed a Vray 1.5 sp3 on it,affect the renderspeed of vray?? Thnx

@arkitekti90, the 3DS Max 2010 engine is slightly faster than the 2009 engine. I havent tested it out but I think it would be slightly faster. But keep in mind that 3DS Max 2010 is more heavier program than 3DS Max 2009.
