@synyde6s9c did you know it's not jay-z beat? check out the original. but ya i had jayz album and bumped this so much. the original is cormega - fallen soldiers. i wonder how much of an influence cormega had on jay-z besides just the beat. either way it is a tight beat and jay-z did his thing on this track. away with illuminati though

WOAH shit, just made me realise this shit is actually a decade and a half old! I always find my self listening to the same era, shit from Eminem, Big, Nas and Jay from the 94-00 days mainly. 100% right, its way hotter than whats perceived as hot these days, RnB rappers have fucked the game cause they get a big following by non hip hop heads who dont know shit about this art form
