@steve37533 It lets you view the current position everyone is in.. their best lap time.. how many pit stops they've made. It also lets you tab over and see all the major incidents and information on crashes.. penalties people have taken etc.

@frmacleod Would not have received a penalty for that in reality, as the Stewards have claimed they cannot enforce rules at the very start, due to the chaotic nature of it. If they did, Vettel would have been penalised many, many times this year, to say nothing of Schumacher and his on track antics.
