  • Hendrix,Rhoads,Van Halen......

Not a one of these legendary guitarists can touch Steve Hackett as THE greatest guitarist to ever live!

So many moods,so many styles,so much Emotion in his playing.

    Hackett Rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • How I agree with the comments below - Steve is the true keeper of the Genesis flame a guitarist's guitarist and a contributor of all that was special about 70's Genesis - his departure was a greater loss to the band than peter.

  • Beautiful way to play the guitarr, nice.

  • Steve Hackett is the only one!!! His music is phenomenal!!!!

  • 0:00 to 2:25: "How much longer do we have to keep doing this lame-o soft-rock shit before we get to the good part?"

    2:27: "Phwew."

  • love Steve to bits but gabriel WAS Genesis. excellent vid.

  • I think it is true Steve means to me more than Peter

  • hey i live just in 30 km's from Montreux "so gallant" riviera... this precious kind of things are not my kind... but well there's inspired artitsts goin' there every year.... This year is a quite sad turnin' point for the festival...

The man behind the selection of alternative pop/rock music has just left the direction...without substitute... so they Montreux Jazz became a little less rock n roll from this year.... it's over for the Music or the Bees and others of the same kind...

  • @NS9144 wow , you said it all !!!God bless !!!

  • I saw him on this tour, at Park West in Chicago. Still have lots of pictures I took. Excellent one of a kind concert that still stays with me. So much innovation here!

If you look just behind him, you can see his Roland GR-500 guitar synthesizer that he used on one song.

  • bass line is kickass!

  • Soaring solo !!!
