Honestly I've never liked the Marui's too much, but I LOVE my KJW 1911, so thanks for showing me how to put a mean inner barrel into it!

Thx 4 this video, finaly someone who knows what we need to see instead of the same default takedown thats 999999877445 times on youtube

@L1NG4N, please view the videos in my account to see full disassembly and reassembly of the entire pistol system.
-
Can you please to a lover receiver/ grip takedown?
-
@MEU98 simply put, the hi-capa frame can be separated to two parts such as the mid frame and pistol grip. The Meu uses a full lower frame which means its all one piece.
-
@MEU98 : What makes you think this is an MEU? As an fyi, this is a modified Hi-Capa, but several components are still strictly Hi-Capa, such as the adjustable rear sight, the MRP-OPS markings on the slide, the bull barrel, and the full length guide rod as well as the high capacity magwell.
-
Isn't this the body of a meu?
-
no the grip is not hard to install at all. Just take out a screw inside the lower reciever right where the trigger guard is connected to it.

thanks a shitload for this man, I've been wanting to put on a metal outer barrel but didn't known how to get the plastic one off. ive also wanted to get the tactical grip, is it worth it, and is it hard to mod/install? I put a metal infinity slide on my stainless dual custom 4.3, a lil mod necessary. please respond
-
nevermind. i got the inner barrel inside. This video helped ALOT thanks ALOT!

Is there anyting special you did when you put the innner barrel back into the outter barrel? im trying to switch outter barrels and nothing is working for me. I have a KJW KP_05 (1911 tactical)
Seeing as you have to flex the plastic outer barrel to get the hop unit and inner barrel out of the outer barrel, how do you fit a metal chamber and outer barrel to this gun if the metal wont flex?

@MrJmak223
Metal barrel sets generally are not machined to the exact same dimensions as the OEM plastic chamber, thus, no flexing is required.

I bought one just like this a while back from a friend and i'm not sure if it is a 5.1 or a 4.3. How do you tell. Mine looks exactly like yours. I need to get a new mag so thats why im trying to find out. Thanks

@lonestar1775
A 5.1 has a 5.1 inch outer barrel. A 4.3 has a 4.3 inch outer barrel. That includes the length of the chamber. The Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa series can interchange magazines. The 5.1 comes with a 31 round magazine, and the 4.3 comes with a 28 round magazine, but they can swap magazines. Besides capacity, the other difference is a larger bumper bottom on the 31 round magazine.

If I were to put a metal slide on this and a 7inch 6.01 inner barrel would I have to do anything with the barrel? 7 inches seems a little long in a 5.1

@sniperfox33
The "7 inch" inner barrel is meant for 7" long outer barrels. So yes, it will extend beyond the end of the 5.1" outer barrels. I'd highly recommend doing something to hide the longer barrel in order to avoid any risk of damage to your hop up chamber.
What you do is up to you, whether you use a silencer, or compensator to hide it - it's up to you.
