  • Very finely divided cerium oxide is used for optical polishing; it's usually mixed with a vehicle such as glycerine or mineral oil to form a paste.

  • Why would it be used in magnets?

  • amen! a flint can be upto 33% cerium.

  • I like Cerium on pies or sometimes in soups

  • cerium is also used in flints
