i just picked up a gypsy spirit at a yard sale for 100 bucks. the nut has fallen over on an angle and now the strings all hit the neck. it looks like an easy repair. is this company still in business? in Az? anyone? thanks

@herveus Four sets of two strings sounds right. How big is it? Mandolins come in a few diffrent shapes but are all about the size of a fiddle, tunes and fingers the same too. Bouzouki are longer, almost guitar sized

Hi. I just purchased something called a "gypsy mandolin" for my son and I'm now not certain exactly what I have. Have you ever heard of such an instrument? It looks more like a bouzouki than a mandolin (teardrop shape), has four sets of two strings each, and a pick guard. Any help would be appreciated.
