@HoHoMeTickle Barely any one their lyrics are actually satanic, unless you're intent on interpreting it that way. And fyi, Valfar always hated people who pigeonhole bands into a set genre. It was his band, if he said they were jazz fusion / porn groove crossover band, then thats what they were. And the reason he disliked black metal is because it became almost mainstream for a while, and was more about making a statement than about the music.

@HiggsyAndGinge Valfar probably only said that to get the Media off his ass... if you wear corpsepaint, nailboards and sing about Satan, winter, paganism, evil and darkness, etc. it's Black Metal... not to mention the fact that Windir's from Norway! So it's game over...

@Pryce2112 As the other guy said, i dont think they're serious lyrics. Valfar wasn't a satanist, and was very outspoken in the fact that windir aren't / weren't black metal.

@Pryce2112 yea but i think the lyrics are meant to be sardonic, i don't think valfar was evil like the lyrics suggest, because i think the lyrics to this one pertain very well to our leaders today and their mentality
