Running burned copy of final fantasy VII: First make a contraption (tape some packageing foam works well) to hold the open tray button down (its in the top right of ps1 underneath the lid. 1) Get CloneCD (the trial is free dont worry) and select to copy the original ps1 game and burn backup as a 'game disc' at 1x write speed USE CD-R'S ONLY 2)Find a ps1 gameshark and run it. At the main menu, you can selct if you want codes or not but a memory card is required, take out the gameshark disc and put in your backup disc. 3)Lastly select to start the game and press X ;)

  • Dude, that's the PSX.... not the PSone...

PSone was the 2000 slimline model..

This is the original 1994 model... the PSX.

Ok, now we can call it the PS1 in hindsight... but "PSone" was actually the slimline.

  • i got a Working ps one for a buck

  • KnifeTheSky OYE EL PROGRAMA ME PUDES SUBIR EL PROGRMA GAMESHARK ES URGENTE QUE LO NECESITO SI LO SUBES NO CONVIERTAS EN ISO NI BIN NI CUE DEJALO ASI MI PS1 NO LEE ARCHIVOS DE ESOS

  • ps1 ou ps2 tanto faz!

  • you suka

  • I remember the gameshark that fits into the bay on the back. I used that one. I still have it somewhere. This was fun way back when you could still rent PS1 games. Saved me a ton of $.

  • So you really CAN use a GameShark or Action Replay disc for playing imports and backups?

So why is it that I still see the lid still open?

  • how do you swap the discs after you finish disc 1?

  • @szymusbanan I know your comment is over 4 months old now, but a PS1 is also known as a PSX...
