I love this. My dad left when I was 3 weeks or so... but I have always had my great grandpa there as a replacement. He's acted like a dad and I even call him dad. The sad thing is I don't know how long he'll still be in my life.... He said when his dad died he didn't cry because his dad was in pain from lung cancer and he knew his dad was in a better place and not suffering anymore. I'm selfish and will cry when he goes, but deep down I will know he is no longer suffering and in a better place

My dad died when I was 4 and now I'm 14. 10 years of no dad and I'm not over it. I will NEVER get over it. I miss him so much. Whenever someone brings up the word dad I get emotional. ( yes I'm a girl.) Everyone who still has a dad, love it, treasure the time u have with him and you guys are REALLY lucky that your dad is still around. I loved this song since I was 5 I'm 21 now and my parents just recently had a nasty divorce. My father and I don't have a great relationship. It tears me apart.

To anyone out there that has a great relationship with their dad TREASURE it please. It's the most important one a daughter should have. and I would have loved to have this song at my wedding but I'll never have my dream wedding.
