  • 8 channels of midi? can you do 16 with that 4 player linker cable?

  • its a 3 gb thing. covers channels 1 to 15. each gb uses 5 channels as the 5th channel on mGB is polyphonic mode.

  • so how are these arduinoboys different than normal ones? and is there documentation on how to make the arduinoboys like yours?

  • the code running on the arduino uses elements from arduinoboy but its entirely custom because it listens to midi and sends channels 1 to 5 on one gameboy port, 6 to 10 on another, and 11 to 15 on another. there is no documentation but there are some photos on my flickr page (user- trash80)

  • gosh man. are the gameboys even turned on? or is this a hoax?

  • Umm you hear the volume turned up as the camera approaches the gameboy? Also look at my other videos and check out the arduinoboy code page:

code [dot] google [dot] com /p/arduinoboy

  • is it all in the version of mgb? or is it a different code on the arduino itself?

  • Dj Transformer is the man for that :)

  • ARduinoboy, google that; the Schematics are availble online.

  • I've been looking into this kind of thing on the internet trying to find somewhere that can custom make me something like this with pro sound and backlighting mods but can't find anything that allows the possibility of connecting MIDI controllers to them. anyone able to help point me in the right direction?

  • this is great. i like the song you playing too. it sounds good.
