Control Ableton Live with Gamepad (free GlovePIEscript)

I demonstrate how to use a Gamepad for controlling Ableton Live or any other sequencer. First I play some music, then a short describtion follows what the controller does and how to make it work.

Hello,

My problem is this line - set your default midi to "MIDI Yoke NT:1"(GlovePIE ->CP-Settings ->Midi ->...)

I am using windows 7 if i do that their is nothing about midi. I cant find anything about midi at al in my configuration screen.

I made that video 1 1/2 years ago and the script even 4 or more years... the path to settings might have change, but there has to be global Midi-Settings Menu in GlovePIE. Just make sure to match these outs with the INs in your DAW (e.g. FL). I cant help any further cause I havent used it for long time (see my channel for current activities) all the best, mat

But just to mention...the patch is a bit old, I am no more working with that and can not help in detail. But as it is free, just try!

Well, I have done that years before buying my Lemur. Now I do sequencers in max and on the Lemur...but actually, this was how it all started.

I am now using a vst plugin witch converts the gamepad into midi.

Their isnt any clear information about it so just try out how it words

I used fl studio where is settet the midi outpub from the nf_joy and picked it up with my instrument.
