Homophobes watch GAY PORN too

This week I chose the topic "Gays v.s. lesbians in the heterosexual world" because I think there's a lot to be discussed when it comes to how they're viewed to straight people.

I know that this perception will vary between straight men and straight women and my own perception will be different too because I'm a gay man, but I think in general there is a much more "hate" out there against gay men.

When was the last time you heard about a straight woman charged for gay bashing a lesbian? When was the last time you heard headline news about a lesbian commiting suicide from being bullied in high school? I can't remember either and so I did a google search for "lesbians bullied at school" and "gays bullied at school" and when I searched for lesbians it brought up a bunch of results about "gay" bullying and gay men who have committed suicide and or been bullied.

Why is this? Why do I have to go searching for news about lesbian hate?

I have a few of my own thoughts.

If a boy grows up and is more "feminine" than other boys he's made fun of and called a sissy or a pussy or a fag, I should know, that was a long time ago. I didn't like sports, hunting or other "manly" things and I was crticized about it by all the men in my family.

But if a girl grows up and is more masculine, she's called a tomboy, but it isn't criticized. So she likes sports and wears a ball cap, hates dresses and wears running shoes...that's not wrong is it? She's just different that other girls.

But if a boy grows his hair long and puts it in a pony tail and puts on a skirt, well now you're just asking for trouble and I doubt your parents would allow it.

Look at all the controversy that was brought up by that boy who dressed up as daphane from Scooby Doo....the kid didn't get bullied but the mother did, by all the other parents. They could not beleive she allowed her son to go do school dressed as a girl character. It made such big news that it was all over the internet.

Now what if a girl dressed up as batman? No one would bat an eye.

Look at all the straight male celebrities that dress as women in movies? Do you think Robin Williams received a lot of harrassment for dressing up as Mrs Doubtfire? Or John Travolta for dressing as Edna in Hairspray? Dustin Hoffman dresses up as a woman in Tootsie. Johnny Depp played a cross-dressing bisexual in 'Before Night Falls'. Hell, even Shane Dawson became famous for Shanay nay. And that's just to name a few. Who's to say this boy won't grow up to be the next Robin Williams?

Another thing that makes me shake my head...

When straight guys grow up and start looking at porn, they watch gay porn all the time. Lesbian porn. Why are they so willing to accept gay women but not gay men? If they are so against "gay" I fail to see the difference between gay women and gay men...besides the obvious, they both like the same sex, which is the whole reason why being gay is supposed to be so unnatural.

And why don't straight women watch gay porn between two men? Hell, some women even watch lesbian porn because they find some of it to be erotic.

And how come two straight women can get drunk and make out and will get cheered on and gawked at by all the men but if two straight men get drunk and start making out....well, that just never happens.

Is it becuase women are still being viewed by straight people as nothing more than a sex objects, existing to please the straight man?

And why the hell do most straght men think that because I'm gay I want to fuck them or suck their dick, just because they are a man? Please, don't flatter your self guys. I dont want your dick. It's not like all straight men want to fuck every single woman they see, just because they are a woman.

I think there should be a hell of a lot more lesbians standing up and saying Hey! I'm gay toO! Is it just that there are more gay men than gay women in this world? Are gay women more afraid to come out? Even though they are generally more socially accepted then gay men?

Most of the men I know are dumb asses and if they see a lesbian they automatically think "aw she just ain't had a good cock in her yet". My best friend was a lesbian and got hit on all the time by guys who didn't want to listen. A lot of them were really sleazy to but she always carried a knife and wore steal towed boots so not many messed with her.
