Mubarak may have stepped down, but until the Mubarak era Egyptian blockade of Gaza is shattered, the Egyptian revolution is incomplete. We must end this Zionist/American imperialist blockade once and for all. www.Tahrir4Gaza.net
Mubarek: Brutally repressed his own arab people for decades, ruling with with an iron fist, allowing only meager rights while employing draconian measures to maintain "order".

I can see why Israel is worried, or perhaps simply angry at the light it shines directly on them and their singularly horrific, internationally condemned, illegal, violently enforced colonial settler program, and the decades of misery and terror that it has wrought.
We all know that Israel's a freer country in terms of allowing criticism than Israel and its rich, far-right Jewish backers in America, allow AMERICA to be. But American support is, after all, much more crucial to Israel's survival than mere Israeli support. Who cares if the politically insignificant liberal minority of Israelis criticizes Likud? What counts is the American Israel Lobby's success in controlling the media representations of Israel HERE.
The critical thing for Israel and America thus is to support someone who isn't necessarily the most pro-West or pro-Israel, but who is most likely to make Egypt a better nation. Unfortunately when it comes to foreign policy, the US and Israel have always lead support to pro-west stooge over someone who is more capable but less friendly towards the west.
@Kreplach8 The salt in the water is coming from aquifers on the Mediterranean Einstein. If Israel would lift its illegal admittedly gratuitous blockade and let the equipment in the Palestinians need to rebuild their water infrastructure that Israel destroyed the water in Gaza would become drinkable again
@Kreplach8 NO actually I think the international community should impose a blockade on Israel Fair is fair and if Israel gets to impose a blockade to keep weapons out of Gaza then it's only fair that a blockade be imposed on Israel to make sure no weapons get in to Israel And if anyone should be disarmed god knows its Israel with its ongoing destruction of Palestine which accomplish without its military.

Israel are masters at PR and spin, but there is only so much damage control one can do when one commits war crimes and mass murder.
It does not matter what the Israelis do while they insist on maintaining the occupation, ethnic cleansing, mass murder and collective punishment.
>> It is a convenient way to hate Jews without appearing to be anti-Jewish.
There's no hatred of Jews involved, though historically, it has provided moral cover for immoral policies.
