At least 20 people have been killed in rain-triggered landslides in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

15 people in Rongxian County have been killed. Another 15 people are believed to be still buried by the landslide and rescuers are searching for them. Still another 5 people have been killed in Cenxi City and 6 are still missing. Heavy rains began pounding Guangxi Monday, causing Wednesday morning's landslides.

As of Tuesday night, rainstorms have caused floods in 12 counties in six cities in Guangxi. More than 2,000 homes have been damaged.
