Darling Buds Classic Car Show

The Darling Buds Classic Car Show is an annual charitable event presented by the Rover P5 Alive Club and will be held on Sunday 8th July, 2012 from
10.00 am to 4.00 pm at Buss Farm, which can be found just off the Pluckley Road in Bethersden, near Ashford in the heart of Kent, UK.
All pre-1980 makes and models of classic cars, their owners, enthusiasts and members of the public are cordially invited to a "perfick" family day out with a warm, friendly atmosphere.
The venue has ample public car parking and gates open at 9.00 am.
The show recently attracted over 1000 classic vehicles, making it one of Kent's most popular annual events.
This exclusive location was used in the making of Yorkshire Television`s well-known series "The Darling Buds of May" and is the only time that the farm is open to the public.
This year`s show will include Pop Larkin`s yellow Rolls Royce, The Woodchurch Morris Men, a classic baby carriage display, childrens` rides, live music, autojumble and craft stalls, food for all tastes, a visit by the Kent Air Ambulance helicopter (operational circumstances permitting), plus a licensed bar.
Throughout the day there will be arena displays of exhibitors` vehicles, with a live commentary.
Exhibitors` entry fee is just £3.00 for pre-booked classic cars or £7.00 on the day.

Public admission is £12.00 per. car. This includes show entry for all occupants and parking.
Thank you for your support. To date, you have helped us donate over £64,000 to the Kent Air Ambulance and cancer-related charities. This year we are also continuing to support Demelza House, a local children's hospice.

It IS there! Every year! Have another look. It`s behind Julie Davis in the interview and there`s also a short frontal shot of it. It`s the real thing, as used in the series - not a pretender or look-alike similar model.

right that's it, I've got to go for 2009! That is my fave TV show EVER, just been watching it again on DVD and I still love it now. Julie Davis was great in it, everyone was great! I'm a DBOM nerd, ha ha!

I sometimes forget how long since the show was made I was only a kid still then, now I am 30! - I suppose all the children featured are now grown up, Did you watch Julie when it was first shown on ITV, does she keep in touch with the other cast members? why was she replaced in the later shows?
