"Baby Come Back" is a song written by Eddy Grant, and originally performed and recorded by him and the rest of his band The Equals, It was first released in 1966, a year after the band formed, but did not chart. the song was re-issued on 1 May 1968 and reached #1 in the UK Singles Chart spending three weeks there.
