Hit-and-run accident; victim ignored

This shocking video released by the Hartford Police Department shows how a man is struck by a car. Witnesses took no efforts to save this man until a police car, en-route to another emergency, came across the guy. No-one bothered to call 911.

For a minute I had hope. The car coming down the lane the guy was laying in was stopped. Perhaps, I thought, they were blocking the man from being hit by other cars coming in that direction. Perhaps they were also calling 911. But no, they simply were preparing to make a bootleg U-turn and go the other way. Stupid.

@dash14251 you need to watch the vid again, theres at least 4 people i can see that saw this happen, + the 2 cars went over the line on the wrong side of the street to pass traffic, and thats when he got hit. society sucks nowadays, most are useless tools...

there was only one girl that saw it happen and she went right in to call for help. why waste time running into the street yourself just to say "are you okay?" thats stupid.

the others did not see it happen and when its a hit and run there is no car there for an indication that he was hit by a car. if i were in a shady neighborhood (not saying this is, but its a possibility) and saw someone laying in the street i may assume its some cracked out homeless person.
