Nimi Places allows to show and organize chosen folders, network shares or even some devices on the desktop in special boxes. Those are using Nimi Nici file display component offering such features like smooth scrolling, dynamic item scaling, own image thumbnailing and more. Places can be either pined to desktop or staying always on top, also can be set individually to turn transparent when inactive.

@MANGOlistic thanks, yet, new video will be made for upcoming release. Overall current is over month old, and there already been like 4 versions(?) - a lot changed since then.
P.s.: desktop we're working on based also on Nici component (modified) is even more amazing IMHO ;)
