A haunting and beautiful poem by Plath, read by me. Sorry about the extraneous noise.

  • You read it well. I like to listen to this quite a bit.

  • @christinahale14 Thank you

  • do U think that this poem is beautiful per se?

    Y haunting?

    4 the closing the eyes?

    U won't talk about this, will U?

  • @vuotopiuscuro I don't think I could explain why I find it beautiful and haunting. For me it speaks to me through feeling and emotion, and trying to express that in words is impossible.

  • Thank you so much. Glad you liked it.

  • this is the only reading of this poem i've heard that does it justice. well done.

  • @zephaewryn Though i'm not completely happy with it...thank you.

  • Sylvia Plath could work miracles with blank paper, someone who could so acurrately depict & paint a mourning heart with the alphabet and give lifes ugliness a odd beauty. I just hate that she couldnt find that same beauty in hope and love it just as intensely. Her end was tragic, senseless and way too early.

  • well words are a hard ado -

  • your voice is so gorgeous and dramatic! awesome!

  • I was listening to My Maudlin Career by Camera Obscura at the same time as this.Went well.

  • please do more your voice is great :)
