  • Thanks for taking the time to make a detailed an informative video..I just wanted to tell everyone about my set up..I just bought the Viper Ultra from cabelas for 200$..Its the same as the aluminum SS..Comes with the rapid climb stirrups,footrest(40$value),a screw in EZ hanger bow hanger. And realtree DVD,,,I added a Hazmore silent seat for 20$Third hand archery stabilizer straps15$.And a Molle II pack system 30$ to make hauling it easier..

  • the viper classic is made of steel and is about 7lbs heavier, very sturdy and locks onto the tree well at a cheaper price. The quality is the same as the other vipers just be prepared to pack 27lbs of stand.

  • Great instructional video, you covered everything. I borrowed one of these , and just purchased my own last week. I must say to anyone who doesn't have one of these , and is thinking of getting one, After using this stand a couple of times , you can set it up quietly in a matter if seconds. I am very happy with this stand, and I am sure it will last many years.

  • Thanks for the great review. I wasn't sure which stand I wanted to purchase until I saw this one. Viper SD is the one I went with and it is a truly great stand. Thanks!

  • great review this will be my 2nd year in a viper ss. try a can of od green spray paint 3 bucks at Ace.

  • I have been using the Classic (steel) model for about 6-7 years and just bought the SS model (aluminum). I needed the lighter weight stand (I'm gettin old !!!). My hunting partner has been using the aluminum one for about 10+ years. They are awesome. Well built and comfortable. And most importantly, they are SAFE !!!!!

  • thanks for the review, i have been looking at this stand and i decided to buy it i used to have a heavy field and stream and it is just to heavy and i was looking for a lighter and nicer treestand

  • Excellent Review. I've been looking at this stand for a long time now. I finally decided to order the Goliath yesterday for a little extra room. Can't wait for it to arrive. Thanks!

  • awesome review. i think i'm gonna go pick one up!
