Dragon Quest V 022: Life as a Slave

Ten years have passed, and I am now a teenager of 16. I am still a slave, but I have not given myself over to despair yet. All of the Whip Men say things about how my eyes shouldn't be alive and crap like that. I am surprised that they don't have anything to take away my MP. They did take away my stuff though, which is why I can't really fight them on even ground.

I was captured by the Order of Light. That one dude, Gema, said that I was to be taken to the High Priest or something.

Like Floyd said. Your father Papas sacrifices himself to save you from Gema because Gema knew he could defeat him in a fair battle. So, he puts his scythe up to the Hero's neck and holds him hostage demanding Papas gets killed by his minions in return for his son's survival. So, Papas dies and with him gone the Hero and Prince Henry are thrown into prison.
