Mother of 5 from Boston... never wrote or performed a song 'till she was 27... made an incredible little independent record that caught the attention of Faith Hill who recorded 4 of the songs... signed to Warner Bros. Records where her 2007 album Unglamorous, was produced by Tim McGraw and Byron Gallimore. How Romantic is That has yet to be recorded-you're hearing it here for the first time.

  • I have played this over 50x since i last wrote.I don't have a woman of my own and this song says to me how wrong a road I chose. But as to Lori I will forever be your faithful fan.And thanks again to the little darling out there somewhere who put this treasure of a song on here.

  • super

  • This is literally one the most incredible song I've ever heard!

  • Lori McKenna=my heroooo

    love to cover her music

  • Thanks for the tribute to the unsung low-key lover, husband and father. While we understand the feelings displayed here, our women don't always seem to. Thank you again for recognizing the effort. My wife is my best friend and I honor her everyday as I drag my dead ass to a job I hate. My three kids will understand later in life and I understand that as well.

  • Mother of 5? Somebody loves that woman... I can see and hear why.

  • Everything that American Idol isn't

  • Yes..I have a chronic crush on this heartfelt mom of 5..

  • Just discovered her, incredibly. Head turning classic country voice and lyrics that have far more truth and bite than the usual fare, I'll easiy put her up there with Iris De Ment and Lucinda Williams and Julie Miller.

  • She is one of my fav songwriters!
