  • Athlon XP 2000+ clock is 1.6GHz (or 1.8 GHz), not 2GHz as in G5 or Intel CoreDuo

  • 1.8GHz ... and the iMac G3 is 500MHz ;-)

  • I think he's just testing his own machines and his PC just happened not to be the latest and greatest...I dont think he's trying to do a mac vs PC thing at all, but just a general benchmarking of a few boxes.

  • Exacly as you said.

I wrote it about a month ago about the purpose of the video. see here : Hexley (1 month ago)

I used this PC for a year only because I needed one, the monitor is really crap. (This is NOT a comparison about different operating Systems, but a comparison about different computers I bought in the order they take place in the speed chart)

The meaning of thing is to analise specific machines

  • lmao your from Europe. ok that explains a lot.

  • And what do you think it would explain?

  • It has an AMD Athlon processor YUKKY!!! Intel is the only way to go with PCs, mac PowerPC and Intel are both OK, but the only thing AMD ever did right is ATI.

  • Nice video and cool music.

  • Do not look at Apple or Intel advertisement. Type "3dfluff cinebench" into google. Here are independent results.

MacBook and others is PC hardware, not Macintosh hardware. Intel processor, Nvidia or ATI graphics card. Or Intel GMA 950 graphic card. Inside is not Mac. No more.

Here in Europe we are looking more for power&price factor- this is why we are not buing Mac. Or iPod. This is DESIGN, this is STYLE, but this is not power.

  • No. See mac actually try's on their hardware. thats why its expensive.
