and Katmandu decided to give Caroline 2 minutes of heaven on earth, be a good boy and make her enjoy a wonderful first ride.
And when she became careless because he was so easy and kicked her heels at 1:56 - he remembered to be a stallion, meant to buck and throw Caroline off, which he did so effectively.
Later on he felt sorry and apologized - the right moment for Caroline to forgive him, jump on again and ride him bareback.
But the video has no happy end.

@heinzstoffregen: Her backside was too sore to ride him, but she walked him around with the saddle still on for quite a while before the last part was shot. Lots of praise, because despite the bucking episode (which you accurately assessed), he was well behaved & didn't spook after the fall. She knew it was her fault, and wasn't the least bit upset with him. Joining up was accomplished. We have had two additional work outs since and he has been a sweetheart and very willing to learn.

@heinzstoffregen: PS...nobody wanted to see the other videos...they just wanted to see Caroline fall off, because she never does!!!

@TheSassy1962 Thanks for your explanations - but I definitively prefer to watch Caroline ride and not be thrown off.
Therefore, please, present more videos about both, Caroline´s rides as well as progress made with Katmandu, who is a wonderful stallion.

@heinzstoffregen: I will post more for you! There are 8 stallions here and only 4 are older and broke....3 are just of riding age. Those are the ones we are working with: Ben, registered half arab (x w/quarter horse) buckskin; Katmandu, registered arabian in the video; and Bob, registered arabian grey in other videos. Caroline is an excellent rider, and the horses love her. The boys are eventually to be sold, so they are learning some manners first. ; )
