It's the 60's again and I am a little girl who waits each year for this to come on the TV again....I now own it on DVD, but nothing could ever take the place of those nights spent sitting on the floor in front of the TV with my mother watching this Cinderella. Thanks for posting this.

God, I miss being a kid, when all was simple and easy...I grew up in the mid 50's and this was my absolute favorite musical growing up - never gets old.

Are you aware that today most Intelligent people see Cinderella as the World's Original Social Climber and a Gold-digger ? Some people say that she would not settle for a dumb Carpenter like Jesus , Ha ha ha ha She wanted a rich Prince like Prince Charles ( AKA Tea-cup Ears) .

Man, I love Julie Andrews to death, but this is the best version of Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella; by far. Anyone who loves fairytales loves this musical, whether you were alive upon its initial release or whether you had awesome parents who exposed you to pieces of their childhood, such as I had.

I also was born in 1955. I love the 1957 "Cinderella"(watched Julie Andrews /Jon Cypher version on Youtube) and the 1965 broadcast with Leslie Ann Warren/Stuart Damon . Lorraine

I simply love, love, love this version of Cinderella. I remember watching this in 1965 on TV when I was 9 years old. I fell in love with Stuart Damon and Cinderella's dress was and is absolutely gorgeous. This is one of my most favorite songs, and I also love 10 Minutes Ago and Loneliness of Evening. This truly is a beautiful, enchanting, heart-warming movie and musical.
