No! Don't twist this subject for your own means! By broadening the definition you're likely to diagnose kids as autistic who were diagnosed in the past as having childhood schizophrenia. Does that mean there are "suddenly" more? NO! Because they were always there!!! If there's an epidemic breaks out, I don't think your vitamin water will save you.
Correlation is not causation....sorry for your loss, but if you want to lose the protection of polio, a disease which has been wiped out 50 years ago! What stopped it? Vitamins? No! Vaccines!!!! Autism diagnoses has broadened since 1992. Again, I empathize for your affliction, but don't scapegoat something that saves lives. When you don't get sick, that means the vaccine is working.
I can't believe what I just heard! My first son followed the recommended CDC schedule and was diagnosed with autism at 2! My other two sons are ok b/c after study, my husband and I decided to follow an alternate schedule. We still believe in Mercury-free vaccines-we just took the pace slower and separated the MMR vaccination into 3 separate shots. There may be other factors, but vaccinations definitely play a role! Esp. since our family never dealt w/autism&some families have multiple kids w /it
Again, same old story. USA is the center of the universe, why would we consider learning from others? Same with our healthcare plan, same with GMC, Ford, same with economy. We have to wake up and realize that there are plenty of smart people in the world and we need to start opening doors, listening to others as well. We have much to learn from the rest of the world!
Or like Louis Pasteur...he only needed ONE case which had no potential of being evidence to show us that vaccines are safe and prevent us from diseases.
How many people are tested before vaccinations are approved? Like Jenner when he said he had 23 cases which would show that the smallpox vaccination was safe...BUT here's the thing: 14 people didn't even get vaccinated and only four cases of 23 have a potential of being real evidence!
Jim Carrey, Jenny McCarthy, J.B. Hendley and Jerry Kartzinel ---Thank you.
