Youth Department "T.A.G. Team" (This Anointed Generation)
1 Peter 2:9 says: "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light." It is the desire of the Upper Room Youth Ministry to provide a firm foundation of Biblical teaching for youth. We seek to provide them with an understanding of salvation, and their assurance of it; enable them to build strong relationships with Christ; and nurture and nourish their character development.

T.A.G. participates in the Drama Ministry which performs skits and plays bringing to life spiritual truths in a relevant and tangible manner. T.A.G. also participates in the Step Team, an evangelistic tool utilizing their creative ability and youthful vigor to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Each of these activities AND MANY MORE are used as ministry/outreach tools.
Excellence in the church and outside the church is promoted by encouraging academic success and achievement in the development of good study habits and the refinement of good oral and written communication skills.
