Winslow Township NJ Horse Attack

Horse attacked by an unknown animal on a horse farm. It is initially believed to be some sort of a large cat possibly a Bobcat or Mountain Lion.

Black bear or mountain lion or Jersey devil? And a mountain lion has been seen in eastern Pa. Mountain lions can walk hundreds of miles.

that was a mountain lion, it happened here where i live in WI just down the road from and the state dumb ass game officials denied there were big cats here until someone got a pic on a game cam and a hound hunter treed one while bear hunting. It actually killed the horse here.

@tieetop That's no excuse for being underweight. I've got a 21-year old paint pony with really bad teeth and he's as fat as a town hog! It's all about getting the groceries. If the horse has the right type of feed, he SHOULD NOT be skinny.

@BarrelsPolesandJack Did you also notice the deep depression above the horse's eyes. This means that it is an aged horse. It is sometimes almost impossible to keep an aged animal in good fit condition, being underweight because of age is not uncommon in any animal.

Cuts look as if they could be from some kind of big cat, or a person with a razor sharp knife purposely made to look like a cat.
