  • great lookin facility and decent looking session! to be fair the effort of the lads involved lets it down. too much youth rugby coaching in this country is slow paced and sluggish. need to get the lads to be more explosive...prime example is the two lads on the 'speed' ladder and hurdles, pretty poor effort and no explosiveness at all. tug of war pretty lack lustre also. not hating or bitching because facility and session look very good.

  • to say circuit training in general does not improve strength or power is meaningless. circuit training is just as adaptable as any other training methodology. you can circuit train for strength and power, of course you can. but its not going to happen if you do a muscular endurance based circuit. as you say, specificity is vital. i would like to read the abstracts and methods of these 'current journals'. thats a rather unspecific point. i take your point about wrestling though.

  • @jamesflames75 why is that not game realtated, pretty sure its easier to take a ball off sum1 on there back than when there squeeze balling it? if its done fast its actually very effective method of ball stealing, as well as general conditoning as lots of different muscles are used at different intensities for different lengths of time

  • This facility looks awesome!! Where is it?
